The Cailyn Dizzolv’It cleansing balm was part of the Irish Beauty Blog Awards goodie bag this year. As Jen from Too Dolly Make-Up is a big fan of this product, I was eager to try it for myself so I tested it out that night and was instantly impressed.

The packaging is very luxurious and comes with a handy spatula which avoids bacteria from getting into the product. To use this cleansing balm, you apply it to dry skin, and massage it all over the face to loosen up the make-up. The heat from the massaging motions turns the product into a creamy consistency which you then rinse off with warm water.

A small amount of product goes a long way as it melts away make-up effortlessly and leaves the skin feeling soft and pump without drying it out. This cleansing balm is the best product I’ve found for removing waterproof make-up such as the Inglot gel eyeliner in 77 pictured above. It contains papaya which helps remove dead skin cells and acerola, an anti-oxidant which helps to improve and brighten uneven skin-tone.

McGorisks pharmacy began stocking Cailyn at the start of the summer so I’ve since been able to repurchase the Dizzolv’It cleanser in store or you can purchase it online here for €25.
